Bombers Roll Through Pittsburgh, News, Major Atom A (U11), 2019-2020, REP (Glancaster Minor Hockey)

The Glancaster Bombers Atom A team rolled into Pittsburgh this Thanksgiving weekend, participating in the Three Rivers Tournament.  The boys got off to a great start defeating the Glenview Stars 5-1 on Friday afternoon.  Saturday morning brought action against the AA Trenton Stars.  In this fast flying game the boys came out hard scoring two short handed goals and winning the game 5-1! 

Afternoon action saw the boys going up against the AAA Rochester Monarchs, a team ranked 49th in the US.  The boys battled hard but came up short in this afternoon action.  Their weekend results put them into the championship game Sunday morning which saw a rematch against the Rochester Monarchs.  In a valiant effort the boys held the Monarchs off for one and a half periods, but in the end landed with a Silver medal!  A fantastic weekend was had by all and the boys really stepped up and played some awesome hockey!  Memories were made, games were won, and fun was had by all!  GO BOMBERS!!
