Team Equipment, Jersey and Apparel Fittings - Update & Schedule
Dear Membership,
We wanted to provide an update regarding all things equipment, apparel and jersey related. We have been working closely with our suppliers to bring together what we feel is the best schedule to get all teams fitted efficiently. With additional requirements for our teams we felt it was in our best interest to provide a one stop shopping experience for players/families.
Please find attached the fitting schedule for all teams. What we have planned is a roll out approach where AA teams will go in the first week after the teams are picked (week 1). The subsequent week will see A teams go in for fittings after the teams are picked (week 2). Our final group will be for AE teams with their fittings taking place in the final week (week 3).
A few key things to note:
- All fittings (jerseys/socks, apparel, team wear) will take place at Pro-Hockey Life in Hamilton where we will have a dedicated section of the store setup for Glancaster Bombers players/families.
- Breakaway (jerseys/socks) and Binbrook Pro Shop (team wear) will be on site and setup at the store so players/families will be able to come during their designated time to get everything required.
- We have negotiated volume discount pricing with Pro Hockey Life for several items players/families may be interested in. Please keep in mind that the only piece of equipment that is mandated to be blue for the 2019/2020 season is the player's helmet.
- If a player purchases a piece of equipment and it no longer fits after it comes in or before the season starts, Pro Hockey Life will exchange it for something larger as long as it has not been worn.
- Attached is the Pro Hockey Life price list for items we have recommended. We realize that some players may want a different helmet brand or model but in order to get the deeper discount we recommend buying from the list. Pro Hockey Life is committed to helping our players/families find the right product if they don't want something from the list, but keep in mind the discount % will be less.
- We will look to circulate the team wear options from Binbrook Pro Shop later this week so players/families have that information prior to the fitting.
