Coaching Announcement U16A/B - ROB SMITHSON
The Bombers are happy to have Coach Rob back on the bench, for what will be his 16th season coaching minor hockey. In over 500 games on the bench, Coach Rob boasts a 287-183-49 record. He attributes the success of his teams to maintaining a positive team-first environment, continuous learning and a ‘fix the little things/peak for playoffs’ style of play. This will be his 6th consecutive season with the 2011 age group, who have noted constant improvement through consistent systems development and a strong focus on teamwork and passing first mentality. We look forward to watching 26/27 U16 players continue to grow after an amazing 25/26 season.
