2021-2022 Fall Tryout Information
The 2021-22 Fall tryout season is upon us and the Glancaster Bombers want to welcome our players back to hockey! Your Bombers Executive would like to inform our membership on the upcoming tryout process. Should any questions arise, please contact the Glancaster Bomber Rep Directors "Here".

OMHA VACCINATION POLICY

 

The OMHA has mandated that all eligible participants including coaching staff must be double vaccinated for COVID-19 for the upcoming season by October 31st, 2021.

 

With new policies in place for this season we have separated our tryout procedures into the three links listed below.

 

U8 GLANCASTER BOMBERS MD EVALUATIONS

 

Glancaster bombers are happy to announce the U8 age group will have a team in the NDHL U8 MD division for the upcoming season. Interested players will participate in 2 evaluation skates. The Evaluation schedule can be found on the U8 team page (Click Here). 

 

The tryout process will utilize the following outline.

·  Skaters must attend both evaluations to be eligible to be selected.

·  Evaluations done by Executive members of the Bombers association in conjunction with the     coach.

·  On Ice evaluators will be non-parent participants.

·  ALL PLAYER AND SPECTATORS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE COVID SCREENING UTILIZING   THE QR CODE OUTSIDE TRYOUT ARENAS OR THE BOMBERS WEBSITE.

 

U9-U11 GLANCASTER BOMBERS AA and A TRYOUTS

 

Hockey Canada has implemented a new policy for the 2021-22 Fall tryouts for U9-U11. Pre-Tryout and Tryout sessions including GAMES can be found on the individual team websites. Tryouts sessions begin Sept 20th through Oct 2nd. AA tryouts consist of 5 sessions/games. A tryouts consist of 4 sessions/games.

 

The following process will be utilized during evaluations for these age groups.

·  HOUSE LEAGUE PLAYERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TRYOUT FOR AA TEAMS. 

·  Evaluations will be done by selected Executive board members, Coaches, and NON-PARENT on   ice evaluators. 

·  Separate independent Goalie evaluators to be used where applicable.

·  Minimum of 3 skates before releases are made. Players “may” be released after remaining   sessions to complete rosters.

·  NON-RESIDENT players are not permitted to tryout at these ages.

·  Players will be assigned a ’TIN’, tryout identification number, that will populate on the team   webpage until the coach releases the player down.

·  ALL PLAYER AND SPECTATORS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE COVID SCREENING UTILIZING   THE QR CODE OUTSIDE TRYOUT ARENAS OR THE BOMBERS WEBSITE.

U12-U18 GLANCASTER BOMBERS AA, A, AE TRYOUTS

 

U12-U18 team tryouts will commence Sept 17th through Oct 3rd. Tryout sessions including GAMES can be found on the individual team websites. AA Tryouts consist of 5 sessions/games. A Tryouts consist of 4 sessions/games. AE Tryouts consist of 3 sessions/Games.

 

The following process will be utilized during evaluations for these age groups.

·  HOUSE LEAGUE PLAYERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TRYOUT FOR A TEAMS.

·  Evaluations will be done by selected Executive board members, Coaches, and NON-PARENT on ice evaluators.
