U16- BB, REP (Glancaster Minor Hockey)

All of the kids that have tried out have made the decisions for this team extremely difficult.  I want to thank all players for trying out and wish you the best.  As I have said every night, please if you play in Glanbrook or Ancaster next season, reach out in the fall and I will AP you to the team.  

There are still a release on forward and a release on defence to be made following Friday evenings game.   Come prepared to continue to make my decision difficult. Please arrive to the arena an hour prior to game time and bring both your dark and light jerseys again. I do understand that high school sports are happening and may interfere for some with arriving one hour prior.  Please contact me if you are in this situation to discuss.

Tonight everyone did their best and has made decisions hard to make.  I truly appreciate every player that has come to tryouts and put themselves out there to try to make this team.   The talent available at this level is the best I have seen it in all my years with the Bombers and it is not making my job easy.  I brought in evaluators to help with these decisions as well as supported by executive evaluators as it truly is that hard. Great intrasquad game tonight!   As I mentioned to the boys prior to the start of the game tonight I will not be making cuts tonight.   If you are sitting tomorrow night you will be contacted. Please bring both your white and dark Bombers jerseys with you tomorrow if you have them, if not a light and dark jersey will work.   Please arrive to the arena 1 hour prior to tomorrow nights game. The Glancaster Bombers have been informed there is no longer a U16 B/C contact hockey loop in either Niagara District or Tri County for the 2024-25 season. Tryouts will be run for BB non contact in place of the U16B tryout. This team will be scheduled to compete in Tri County.
